Carbonomics Environmental Ltd. is a partnership between two well established consultancies, Clouds Environmental Consultancy Ltd. and The Olive Consultancy Ltd. This partnership offers both strategic and technical guidance and was formed to bring together the carbon and energy management expertise of Clouds with the wider strategic, resource efficiency, training and EMS capabilities of Olive.

Carbonomics are a Carbon Trust accredited consortium and have extensive experience in energy, resource and waste management, making us ideally suited to delivering the Low Carbon Economy for your organisation.

The Olive Consultancy

The Olive Consultancy is a leading independent consultancy specialising in sustainability and carbon management. They provide practical, cost effective solutions to organisations in the public and private sectors seeking to achieve carbon reduction, environmental improvement, financial savings and good practice.

With an emphasis on quality and the business case for environmental improvement, Olive provides a comprehensive service focusing on:

Sustainable Business Network (SBN)

The Portsmouth SBN provides free support and advice on a wide range of sustainability issues and opportunities specifically to local businesses. It has been developed in partnership and with a number of organisations including the district and borough Councils, Chamber of Commerce and Business Link.

Clouds are an Associate Member of the SBP and contribute to the delivery of its programme, through local Networks Steering Groups, or by contributing to the delivery of specific events or activities.

The Solent Energy and Environmental Management Group (SEEMG)

The SEEMG provides a forum for the development and exchange of ideas and best practice between Energy and Environment Professionals. This enables members to keep abreast of latest technologies, legislation, issues and practices and equips them with the knowledge and tools to be able to implement actual energy saving measures; reduce the use of resources and improve the environmental performance of their businesses.

Clouds are an active member of the SEEMG and are represented on its committee, providing valued help and contribution to set annual programmes; advise on Environmental Law and guidance from the Carbon Trust; maintain the SEEMG website and advise on Business Planning issues.

Hampshire Chamber of Commerce

Hampshire Chamber of Commerce provides leadership and support to the Hampshire business community in all its goals and ambitions.

Formed by the phased merger of North Hampshire Chamber of Commerce, Portsmouth & South East Hampshire Chamber of Commerce and Southampton & Fareham Chamber of Commerce, the new County Chamber combines the strength and expertise from these well established organisations bringing enhanced services, a wider network and a more influential voice.

The Chamber is owned and led by its membership comprising of local business organisations of all sectors and sizes.  As a private sector, not for profit Company they are independent and can therefore lobby effectively to make Hampshire the place to do business. The Chamber provides a wealth of services to its members including high quality events, training, international trade documentation, representation opportunities and other commercial services.

Allianz Engineering

Allianz underwrites all major types of insurance and employs over 4,200 people nationwide. They are a subsidiary of Allianz SE of Germany, Europe’s largest insurance company and one of the largest insurers in the world.

Allianz recently developed an energy services division to further satisfy the needs of its growing commercial client base. In 2009, Clouds became an approved delivery agent of energy services to the clients of Allianz engineering.

Partnership clients include: Lambert Smith Hampton, Jones Lang Lasalle, and West Midlands Police Authority.
